Building Basslines: a Primer

The main thing that you are required to do as a bass player is to create good Basslines.

No one would want to play with you if they knew that you couldn't make a simple groove work, so why not learn how now?

Everything from what kind of Scales and Arpeggios to use over Chords to adding a bit of a personal touch to a part of yours are covered in this section.

Anything that you need to know about how to create a good, solid part is covered here.

If you need to know where to start or you need a bit of guidance, you can start to learn to create your Lines here.

So, no matter whether you like Rock, Funk, Country, R&B;, Jazz, or any other sort of music, you can learn to create a good, solid part in your favorite style simply by starting here.

If you have any questions or need something, simply send me a message at my Contact Us page. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
