Major Pentatonic Scale and Modes

Welcome to my page on the Major Pentatonic Scale!

This Scale is very, very useful.

The reason that this scale gets used as often as it does is because the notes that are in it fit very well and in such a Harmonically pleasing way over the vast Majority of Major Key Harmony.

As well, it is also very easy to solo with and it provides a great way to move around Harmonic Ideas when soloing in large or densely clustered Major-key pieces.

So, Experiment and don't forget:

Have Fun!
