Major Scale and ModesWelcome to my page on the Major Scale! The Ionian Scale makes up a large part of Western Harmony as we know it. In fact, the Major Scale is THE most used Scale in the Western World. Since most of what you'll play is built off of this Scale, it is important to have a decent grasp on how to play and understand this Scale.
