Playing the Bass Primer

So, you've decided that you want enjoy Playing the Bass?

That's great. The world always needs more of us :)

But, where do you go to actually learn to "do your Thang"?

Sometimes a teacher can be difficult to find locally (Although, if you can take some lessons locally, do. It's one of the best things that you can do for your ability).

Maybe you don't have the time or the money to get weekly lessons....

A couple of friends of mine were asking me for a few lessons the other day and it reminded me that starting out on the bass can be difficult.......

I remember starting out...

Learning to be a musician was difficult because no one seemed to care what I wanted to do or learn. Everyone wanted me to do these simple, boring tunes that I had no interest in.

No one wants to do that.

So, I have written some articles and lessons for anyone that wants to learn to make music on the bass.

Everything from How to Get Good Tone to Posture to even the String Names are covered.

At the end of this, you'll have a solid, basic foundation on how to enjoy the bass.

You should start reading from the beginning if you haven't used the bass before or have just started.

If you have any questions or need something, simply send me a message at my Contact Us page. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Best of luck!
